* Employees need to build, their reputation."Warren Buffet once said,It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it."If you can really start to think about it,you'll do things differently.This simple means that employees work so hard and for many years in order to build their reputation and all it takes is one silly mistake and you are gone.Exactly just like a football coach he can win so many matches but after loosing one game in a tournament he will be a villain, and the supporters will call him all sort of names.
* Establish yourself as someone people can rely on to get the job done.I mean you must be prepared to go the extra mile, by ensuring that your integrity and ethics are always unquestionable,and that your seniors,colleagues and customers know you as someone that can be trusted to do things in any situation.
* You must always volunteer,show energy and drive.this is not difficult to achieve.Be pro-active,don't wait to be ask to do things, volunteer.Identify opportunities where you can show your mettle.your creativity and problem-solving abilities.Ensure that everything you do adds value.
* Never stop learning.Many employees like to blame lack of fund or support form their employer as an excuse not to develop themselves.You must always set aside a certain percentage of your income for self development.You can also develop your knowledge and skills and share what you know with your colleagues.
